Commercial and utility vehicles manufacturer Force Motors on Tuesday announced the launch of the Traveller-26 passenger van for the Indian market.

As the name suggests, the Force Traveller-26 provides space for no less than 26 people apart from the driver. The striking accommodation capacity of the van allows it to boast that it is the world’s biggest monocoque passenger van.

The new van features a wide body design and twin tyred rear wheels that ensures better load bearing and stability. Under the bonnet, the Traveler-26 has an OM611 common rail, turbodiesel engine, which the manufacturer builds under license from Germany-based Daimler AG. Its 2.2-liter turbo diesel motor produces maximum power of 127 bhp and a peak torque of 295 Nm.
