Launch a month away, and we are experiencing the heat of it. Hyundai Verna facelift that is bound to be released in India in the coming month has already started testing on the roads of India.
To know more about it in detail, it is been cited, the new Solaris that was rolled out in Russia following an unveiling at 2014 Beijing Auto Show, will be the same that India is bound to see.
Confirming the changes, it is notable with the front grille, wider headlamps, new bumper and sharper fog lamps. However, the rear doesn’t to differ much, but it appears to be bigger than the earlier ones. Surely, there would be changes inside the cabin as well, but at the point of writing we aren’t confirmed about them.
Several changes seems to be carried out under the skin as well, which will be the gritty feel to that light steering wheel for inspiring confidence. Such a lookout will be done through simplifying the electronics on the section.
Learning about a bit of the past of Hyundai Verna, it was rolled out in India back in 2011, where it awed everyone on the road with those Fluidic signs and language, whereas now it too doesn’t looked in the mood of shedding them. Famed for being a sports sedan, the legacy continued further with a update launched in August 2013. Apparently, it was a minute tweak inclusive of retuned suspension and minor nip and tucks then. Hence, a facelift was necessary to cast a spell on the rivals now.
Finally, the sedan segment in India had grown large than before with Ciaz roped in, and Honda City diesel making a whir in the business, with Volkswagen and Skoda stood up with diesel automatic options for Vento and Rapid respectively.
The launch is reported to happen on February 16, 2015.
