The renowned F1 racing team; Infinity Red Bull Racing, added another feather in its crown today. Their star racer and the present F1 racing champion, Sebestian Vettel, has finally made his decision. The star has extended his contract with the team for a whole year and now will stay with Infiniti Red Bull until 2015. This was officially announced by the Red Bull racing team in the media.
Initially called “Red Bull Racing”, it is a team which is under the ownership of the Red Bull beverage company. It has obtained an Austrian licence and so far is the only Austrian team that has secured 3 consecutive wins at the world championship. It recently has added to its name a Canadian Grand Prix which was held in Montreal. This team is now officially called “Infiniti Red Bull Racing” as Infiniti, which is an automotive brand, decided to become its official title sponsor in 2013.
Sebestian Vettel has been a part of this team since the year 2009 and since then this duo has very speedily risen to success. Sebestian is just 25 years old and already has to his name numerous achievements which include 39 pole positions, 21 wins and 51 podiums.
Sebestian got his hands on the championship in the year 2010 and since then he has retained the title. With three consecutive wins in the years 2010, 2011 and lately 2012 made him the youngest triple Champion in the F1 league. Before him this title was earned by the F1 racing legend; Ayrton Senna, who is considered as one of the best F1 racers ever.
The contract that Red Bull racing team had with Sebestian Vettel was to expire in the year 2014. But with the completion of five consecutive successful seasons together at the Formula One racing championships, the team along with its star racer decided to extend this companionship for another year. Now Sebestian will be with Infiniti Red Bull till the end of 2015 as their season racer.
The Formula one racing fans from all over the world are cheering for this duo. They have had a very successful record as a team and with a year added, the expectations from them have also risen. Sebestian expressed in the media that he wishes to race Ferrari and Mercedes now, but with the extension of his contract with the Infiniti Red Bull, he has proved his loyalty for his team.
