Mahindra’s U321 MPV Officially Named Marazzo

The upcoming Mahindra MPV, which was codenamed U321 for Mahindra insiders, has now been officially named Marazzo.

Marazzo is a Spanish word which means shark. The Marazzo has been co-designed by Pininfarina and Mahindra’s own Kandivali design studio and will be the first Mahindra car to be developed in its new North American Technical Centre. The name Marazzo has been chosen since the design of the car has been inspired from sharks.

In fact, several aspect of the car, both inside and out, has been designed to mimic sharks. The Marazzo will be offered in seven and eight-seat configurations and will be packed with premium features. It will also debut Mahindra’s latest 1.5-liter 121HP diesel engine.
