Maruti To Recall 70k Cars Inclusive Of Dzire, Swift And Ritz

The third recall in less than a year, company this time has called back 69,555 diesel cars for replacing a faulty wiring fitment. The recall is applicable to the cars produced between 8th March’10 and 11th August’13.

The specific recalled numbers include: 55,938 DZire, 12,486 Swift and 1,131 Ritz. All of them were sold in the country and none of the affected were exported.

The company has officially said respective dealers will call up the affected owners for attending the recall. Technicians at the dealer workshop are entitled to carry out the replacement after inspecting it. All the temperaments will be made for free of cost.
