Mercedes Benz India inaugurated Punjab’s biggest car dealership in Mohali, Punjab on 5th May, which spreads over an area of 55,000 square feet, including a workshop and a well structured showroom established with an investment of Rs. 16 crores. Significantly, MB marketed more than 40% of total cars in luxury class last year. Eberhard Kern, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Mercedes Benz India said: “That of the total 1500 luxury cars marketed in Punjab last year, the company accounted for 638 cars or more than 40%. Also Punjab accounts for 7% of total Mercedes sales in India.
About the new dealership, Kern said that facilities include a plush café, a luxurious customer lounge and drive-in valet service together with 11 cars on display. The wheel configurator and accessories, engaging boutique collection, special play area for children and audio-visual presentation are some of the highlights of the new plant. The other facilities, which can be availed by the customers include lifestyle merchandise and drivers lounge, insurance and finance solutions and a dedicated boutique. Having 15 productive bays, which can service up to 560 cars a month and this will allow round the clock support from 50 hand-picked personnel who are experienced and dedicated to ensure the customers have an enriched car ownership experience.
The all-new City showroom in Sector 8C of Chandigarh will be facilitating apart from new car sales, insurance and finance programmes and accessories sales.
