Mercedes C- and E-class Sport Edition Rolled Out

Mercedes-Benz India has rolled out the C-Class Sport and the E-Class Sport versions with the AMG style package. The Sports versions of the C as well as the E-Class are valued at Rs.29.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs.39.9 lakh respectively.

Both the newly launched vehicles are catered by the 220CDI 4-cylinder diesel engine originating 170bhp and 400 nanometer of torc; paired to 7G TRONIC automatic conduction.

The new C220 CDI Sports version bags hoards of added traits in the interior, together with the AMG body equipment. The insides obtain Artico covering with Black piano lacquer trim, electric seats, THERMATIC automatic weather organizer, an Audio 20 along with single CD player with Universal Serial Bus, Aux in and Bluetooth link. Moreover, the car also has a Mirror Package.

The AMG styling kit of C220 CDI includes front and rear bumper aprons and side skirts, 17-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, black painted roof with a SPORT badge, halogen lamp and is available in Polar White colour.

In addition, the vehicle also bags light-emitting diode Day time lights in addition to direct control suspension; it is also obtainable in the Polar White shade.

The characteristics on the vehicle are close to that of the C220; but it pockets burr walnut wood trim. Both new vehicles boast host of security characteristics comprising PRE – SAFE, NECK Pro, Attention help, tire pressure loss warning system, 6 Airbags, Antilock Braking System, Brake help, and Electronic Stability program together with Acceleration Skid Control (ASR).

Mr. Peter Honegg, managing director and chief executive officer, Mercedes-Benz India stated that the amount of customization provided by the company is matchless by any other company in the section. The introduction of C-Class and E-Class Sport Edition is yet a new footstep and a proof to their mission to offer up products, which provide uniqueness, individuation and sportiness – traits, which classify Mercedes-Benz clients of present day.

On the other hand, Debashis Mitra, director of sales & marketing, Mercedes-Benz India remarked, “The new offerings are highly exclusive products with AMG exterior styling, and host of other sporty features for which a Mercedes-Benz is renowned for. These introductions are part of our product offensive in offering up fresher products and newer versions of subsisting products to our sharp clients. The launch timing of these vehicle tallies with the Indian Grand Prix fever that is shortly going to grab the country, particularly after the wonderful victory of last years race.”
