Mitsubishi Cedia recently bagged the top award in the Round 2 of the rally in Chennai at the 2011 Speed Indian National Rally Championship organised by the FMSCI.

HM-Mitsubishi commemorated the success of the Cedia by organising a gala party, the Mitsubishi Cedia Chequered Night at Le Royal Meridian. The celebratory event saw the attendance of many rally drivers, crew members, co-drivers and eminent personalities of the rally fraternity involved in INRC’s Chennai round as well as customers of HM-Mitsubishi.

The company’s head of channel and marketing development, Yoshiaki Wada, said that they were proud of the car once again as it met their expectations and proved that is the undisputed leader when it comes to the rally circuit. He said that the party was not just to celebrate the success of the car, but also of its drivers who have kept faith in the car always. They are thankful to their customers as well for their support.

The event had music and games, including good food and gifts for the guests. Crossroads, a Chennai based band also entertained the audience. There was also a video game section that stimulated the events of the race track and became the party’s biggest attraction. Participants of the game who scored highest points received a two way Singapore trip as the top prize.
