New third-gen 2013 Skoda Octavia launched in India for Rs. 13.95 lakh ex-showroom Delhi

Made the initial unveiling attempt at 2013 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, new 2013 third-generation Octavia launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 13.95 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, for the starting variant called 1.4 TSI (petrol) Active.

Hence, the new Octavia is launched in seven variants here on our shores, and the top-end is priced at Rs. 19.45 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, which is the 2.0 TDI (diesel) Automatic of Elegance badge.

Overall, there are lot of changes comparatively between the old and the new ones. Exceptionally, the nose on fore-front is the major spotted difference, while the bootlid, headlamps, tail lamps, and number of cosmetic tips are around it are there to name the freshness for 2013 Octavia tag. To an addition, this latest car of Skoda is also underpinned with the Volkswagen’s new MQB platform.
