There are tons of rumors floating around about the arrival of the Nissan Evalia and most of them are suggesting a possible arrival in August. But there are new dates coming up from various sources. The new dates suggest that Nissan Evalia will possibly be arriving in the last week of September instead of August as per the earlier rumors.

The Evalia is believed to be a game changer for Nissan. This 7-seater will be in direct competition with the popular MUVs like Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo. Evalia will be packed with a 1.5 literdCi engine coupled with 5-speed manual transmission that will be producing upto 85bhp of power. The Evalia will be equipped with the same engine that powers the Nissan Sunny.

The Evalia will be built as a joint venture between Ashok Leyland and Nissan. Ashok Leyland has also started to get itself into the commuter segment of the market from the commercial segment. Evalia will also be the first MPV to feature a sliding door in the price segment. How would the market react towards the Evalia is still not known as there is not much interest being shown as of now in the vehicle, but we are hoping that the people will be taking it more positively after it is actually launched.

The MPV, however, looks in good proposition and most of the market experts are giving a good review about the vehicle. The price has yet not been cleared, but it is believed that it would be priced somewhere around Rs.11 lakh.
