The extremely famed Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is now roped in as brand ambassador for Hyundai Xcent. It isn’t the first time King Khan is associated with the Korean carmaker. Back in 1998, he had shot the first TVC of Santro which has paid the company in terms of extensive sales.
The TVC of Xcent shot with Mr. Khan is centered on theme of multiplying the joys of life. Specifically, the car is termed with Xtras like – Xtra style, space and comfort.
The association of SRK with Hyundai completed 16 years of successful journey.
As Xcent is a compact sedan, platform pinned underneath is of an i10 Grand. Power to it comes from 1.2L four-cylinder petrol and 1.1L three-cylinder diesel engines. Both come mated to a five-speed manual transmission, no automatic option given yet. On the driving note, gasoline motor churns out 83PS of max power and 114Nm of max torque, whereas the diesel delivers 72PS of power and 180Nm of torque.
The Xcent range starts for a price of Rs 4.66 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
Since rolled-out on sales floor, Hyundai has found its 35,400 genuine buyers in India.
