Volkswagen Vento Preferred Edition Launched

Volkswagen launched a special edition Vento in India called the Vento Preferred Edition.

The Preferred edition sedan of VW is added with the features like alloy wheels, side door protectors, chrome embellishment on the window lines, door visors, boot spoiler and a ‘Preferred’ badge on the bootlid.

On interiors, the car receives a reverse camera display which doubles up as a navigation system. The price of Volkswagen Vento Preferred Edition is still retained under wraps. In addition to the aforesaid features, Volkswagen had said to provide free insurance for first year and 4-years road side assistance.

This new exclusive sedan of VW is rolled out in order to beef up the sales against the new Honda City.

The Vento Preferred can be preferred in the fuel trims, petrol and diesel. Both of the powertrains comes displaced with the 1.6L engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Volkswagen Vento Corporate Edition (accessory pack) launched in India

Volkswagen introduces Corporate Edition Accessory Pack for the customers of Vento on Indian shores. Though, one can make that available on any of the trim (Trendline, Comfortline or Highline) of Polo based sedan despite of the fuel option (diesel and petrol) preferred. Hence, the report on internet stated that Corporate Edition is given away to the car buyers at free of cost, which includes accessory worth of Rs, 40,000.

Volkswagen Vento Corporate Edition

The Vento Corporate Edition is available with two engine options, a 1.6 liter MPI naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 105 PS and 153 Nm of torque. While the other one to be a 1.6 liter TDI turbo diesel engine delivering 105 PS and 250 Nm. Both engines dwell a 5 speed manual gearbox as a standard fitment. Top end variants of the Vento are available with twin airbags, ABS+EBD, automatic climate control and a steering wheel adjustable for height and reach.
