Tata Motors has just unveiled two new light commercial vehicles or LCVs in the Indian auto market. These are the Tata Ace Zip and the Magic Iris. The Magic Iris bears the Nanos compact and cute rounded design. It is available in two different colours, namely yellow and black. Composed of an all-steel body, the LCV has flexible seating arrangements which will suit multiple needs, and can easily seat around 3 to 4 people

This vehicle is powered by a water cooled 611cc engine which delivers 11hp and a peak torque of 3.2kgm and features a McPherson strut suspension. The Magic Iris has its gear shifter mounted on the dashboard, a one year or 36,000km warranty and 12” radials. The price tag for this vehicle begins from Rs.1.95 lakh onwards according to ex-showroom Thane price for their BSIII variant.

The Tata Ace Zip meanwhile, is the manufacturers pick up truck offering. This mini truck has a payload capacity of 600kg with a 3.5 metres short turning radius. This truck also shares the same single cylinder water cooled engine as the Tata Magic Iris and is available with a 12 month or 36,000km warranty whichever comes first.

The BSIII variant of the Ace Zip is priced around Rs.1.90 lakhs according to ex-showroom Thane price excluding octroi charges.
