Tata Motors has just dusted cliff off the hype and unveiled the “Revotron”, an all new exciting family of petrol engines. Right now the first one to roll off the line is “Revotron 1.2T” which is said to produce 85PS @ 5000RPM and 140NM of torque @ 1750-3500RPM in the initial stage. It can be further enhanced depending upon the buyers’ need. To cater the need of fuel efficiency and also to adhere to the driving comfort, the Tata Motors has deployed it with multi-drive mode which will be all at the mercy of car’s driver.

Coming down to weight, India based carmaker says, it is ultimately light in weight despite the use of steel, and is not only rolled out for India, but is applicable to international applications as well.

The Revotron family of engines will be gulped down with 3 and 4 cylinders, says Tata Motors.
