Toyota Kirloskar Motors in a media release announced the launch of its facelifted Toyota Corolla Altis. The petrol variants of the car are priced between Rs. 15.87 – 19.91 lakh and diesel variants costs at Rs. 17.36 – 19.05 lakh. Globally the car is sold in over 150 countries and company claims that it has sold over 44 million units globally since the launch.
Facelifted Corolla Altis gets new front grille, LED headlamp cluster with DRLs and 16-inch alloy wheels. Interior space is created by the newly designed Instrument Panel with Soft Touch Dashboard and the refreshed Flaxen interior colour.
Mechanically the car comes in the same two engine options- 1.8 L petrol engine with Dual VVT-i and 1.4 L diesel engine. Toyota Corolla Altis is equipped with 7 SRS airbags, Hill start Assist control, Vehicle Stability Control and an impact absorbing structure adding to the excellent cabin rigidity and occupant safety. Toyota has also introduced a new Phantom Brown colour to its existing line up of colours.
