No offensive, despite knowing the truth that JLR is now being owned by Indian carmaker called ‘Tata Motors’, the British doesn’t seems to be accepting it as a fact so. And as a result, UK minister for Trade and Investment visited Jaguar Land Rover local manufacturing facility in Pune on his visit to India.

Lord Green, UK minister for Trade and Investment, was accompanied by delegates from 11 British trade bodies representing more than 20,000 UK companies. The visit is aimed to identify further opportunities for UK and Indian businesses to work together.

Lord Green seemed delighted about his visit to JLR plant. He commented, “This is a great example of premium British design and engineering being delivered to discerning Indian customers. Jaguar Land Rover, with the help of its parent company Tata, has been a great automotive success story and it is fantastic to see its products on Indian roads.”

Jaguar Land Rover
The facility at Pune locally manufactures the Land Rover Freelander 2 from the company’s Halewood plant in Liverpool, UK and the Jaguar XF from its Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham, UK.
