She is no ordinary girl. She is Beti-B whose name is Aaradhya, daughter of the A-Couple, Aishwarya and Abhishek and grand-daughter of the legendry Amitabh Bachchan. So she turned 4 months and her daddy decided to give her a gift. The doting daddy has gone not an extra mile to choose an appropriate gift for her darling daughter, but he went miles ahead of what could have been even imagined from the father of a 4 month old baby girl. He has booked an Audi A8 for her,for an amount of Rs.1.50 crore. He could have gone ahead and bought something else like Rolls Royce or Mercedes for his daughter. But instead he bought the Audi.
The main reason behind buying this particular ‘low-cost’ (considering who he is, money is never an issue) sedan was the name. The ‘A’ is the alphabet with which his dear daughter’s name begins. So first of the big things the four-month old Aaradhya gets is an Audi A8. Now then, we should also look at the car for once which is soon going to be called as Aaradhya’s first car. There are five variants of A8 in petrol and only one in diesel. But for the Indian sub-continent the company will be releasing two of petrol and one of the diesel variants. The high-end A8 which Daddy Abhishek must have booked has to be the Audi A8 L6.3 W12 Quattro which would come upto nearly Rs 1.50 crore, which he has already paid for booking the vehicle.
The Audi A8 L6.3 W12 Quattro would be chosen by him because it is the highest among the A8 Series in terms of power as well as price to flaunt their daughter’s childhood in style. The 6300cc, W12 6.3 FSI petrol engine pumps out a massive 500 bhp of power and a super torque of 625 Nm at 3250 rpm. The sedan is not at all fuel efficient at 4.8 kmpl in the city and 7.4 kmpl on the highway. But the B-family doesn’t care a thing about money when it comes to Aaradhya, which is proven with the thoughtful selection of her father.
There are speculations for the other variants of Audi A8 which could have been purchased instead of the Audi A8 L6.3 W12 Quattro and those include the Audi A8 4.2 liter, 4633cc displacement TFSI petrol, Audi A8 3.0 liter, 2995cc displacement TFSI petrol and Audi A8 3.0 liter, 2967cc displacement TDI diesel. But even if the Audi A8 L6.3 W12 Quattrois not available on the line for the Indian market, the B-family can get it imported as well. After all nothing is costly at all, compared to their little Beti-B.
At the same time it looks like the bollywood is on a gifting spree of cars to each other. According to sources, Hrithik Roshan has been gifted a Ferrari by Karan Johar for the success of their recent block-buster Agneepath, where Hrithik played the legendary character of Dinanath Chauhan, which was once played by Amitabh Bacchan in the original movie. It is said that Ferrari was the one car, which was missing in the collection of this fast cars lover.
