1,067 Cars Burned in France on New Year’s Eve

Just like every year, this year French too burnt their cars on New Year’s Eve.

1,067 cars were blown-off on the outskirts of France to mark the significance of New Year Bash. To be specific, this year the numbers of cars went down by “10%” compared to the vehicles burnt last year.

The tradition of burning cars on New Year is been practiced in France since 1990.

Hence, the last year’s figures conveyed by officials were “1,193 vehicles”. In fact, it is noticed only three people died during the celebration, and around 53,000 policemen were deployed on-duty throughout the country.
