3rd edition Audi Q-Drive 2014 set to delight customers in more than 30 cities

To target 6000 customers across the country

Mumbai, January 31st, 2014: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today announced the launch of its 3rd edition of the Audi Q-Drive 2014 which will be held across more than 30 cities this year. Audi enthusiasts will get to experience the superlative style, performance and quattro technology of the Audi SUVs – Audi Q7, Audi Q5 and Audi Q3.

“After two consecutive successful years of the Audi Q-Drive in India, I am extremely pleased to bring the 3rd edition of the Audi Q-Drive 2014 to our enthusiasts. This unique driving experience will be held in more than 30 cities across India for our customers. Customer delight is one of the key focus points in 2014 and customer-connect initiatives like Audi Q-Drive enable us to showcase the sportiness, sophistication and progressiveness of our brand to a wider audience. I am confident that this year, even more people will enroll in the Audi Q-Life and experience our brand philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’,” said Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India.

The continued strong demand for Audi Q SUVs have helped Audi India to retain its leadership position in luxury SUV segment and the company intends to consolidate it further this year.

The Audi Q-Drive will be held between February and December in cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Raipur, Surat and Vadodara among others and will touch base with over 6000 customers.

The drives will be held over 2 days in each city and people will get a chance to drive the Audi Q SUVs under trained supervision to understand all the nuances of the advanced technology that Audi SUVs offer.

“In India, Audi‘s connection with the consumer is very strong. We have really built wonderful products with the consumer in mind and the engagement with them is very distinctive. The multi-city Audi Q-Drives will further establish our connect with our target consumers and help us to explore the huge potential that India has to offer. Our luxury Q range of SUVs has been very popular in The Land of quattro-India and the younger demographic has shown immense affinity for them even in the smaller cities. In fact a substantial part of sales last year came from Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7,” added Mr. King.

Audi India plans to expand its network to 40 dealerships by the end of 2014 from its existing 31 centers. The company opened a new showroom in Nashik earlier this year and Mumbai South, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Delhi Central, Karnal, Vadodara and Mangalore last year. Further developments include Visakhapatnam and Noida among others.

The Audi model range in India includes the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback,      Audi A8L, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 S Edition, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi S4, Audi S6, Audi RS 5 Coupé, Audi RS 7 Sportback, Audi TT Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder and the Audi R8 V10 plus available across the country: in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi Central, Delhi South, Delhi West, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai South, Mumbai West, Nagpur, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Surat and Vadodara.
