Bugatti Veyron Special edition Lang Lang Shown: Qatar Motor Show

Bugatti, the French automaker has revealed the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Lang Lang at Qatar Motor Show; this vehicle has been designed and engineered for honoring classical music star pianist Lang Lang. Only one model will be built and will available for the price of £1.757 million (€2,132,700). It is a version of Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse built for concert pianist Lang Lang, inspired by a piano keyboard. It features white leather embroidered with black stitching to mimic sheet music, white and black body colors, Lang Lang’s signature at center console with gold marker and gold plating on wheel hubs, fuel cap and steering wheel.

The look of Bugatti Veyron was inspired by concert grand piano; therefore why the exterior is finished in white and black. The black elements are exposed of carbon fiber, whereas the white color is known as Blanc Atalante. To add an extra touch of luxury, the EB tags on oil caps and fuel tank and EB emblem at the back are plated with 24-carat gold. Black Sang Noir diamond-cut rims complete the look. With its prestigious length of 4.47m, the Bugatti Veyron Special Edition is a perfectly balanced combination of sleek, racy design and high powered performance. Even at complete standstill, the vehicle’s enormous power is made visible by its impressive mid-engine, elevated majestically underneath the chassis. At the same time, the well balanced surfaces, clear line structures and bold proportions give an impression of pure, sleek elegance.

Inside, again the piano keyboard is a dominant theme with roof liner, foot wells and seats covered in black leather. The doors are covered in white leather overlayed with black stitched lines which are intended to resemble a musical stave, whereas the steering wheel, gear selector and bolsters of seats feature white stitching. Other touches include gold plated EB ring and logo on steering column and piano black finish to EB logo on white rear centre storage box. Lang Lang’s signature is also integrated into the vehicle’s footwell. Lang Lang signed the vehicle after giving a concert at the automaker’s plant in Molsheim, France.

All controls reflect a meticulous care for detail and clear lines dominate the design. The finish and selection of prevailing materials leather and aluminum meet the highest possible standards, while the unique alloy was specially developed for guaranteeing the consistent aluminum shine. Only the choicest leather – free of even tiniest blemishes is used for the interior. The light alloy steering column is a composition of aluminum spokes, a work of art, convenient rocker switches providing easy access to the vehicle’s sports automatic functions and a leather cover. The satin aluminum finish of handcrafted center console rounds off the stylishly sophisticated look.

So far, 3 of 6 planned Legend models have been revealed, in honor of Jean-Pierre Wimille, 2-time Le Mans winner, Jean Bugatti, son of the founder of Bugatti, Ettore Bugatti and Meo Constantini, former Bugatti racing chief respectively. Three more are likely within the year, with 4th likely to debut at Geneva Auto Show. The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse offers the top speed of 254 miles per hour and is motivated by the more powerful version of the company’s W16 8.0 liter powerplant that’s good for pulsating earth-shattering 1184 horsepower and jaw-dropping 1500 newton meters of torque. The automaker claims a 0-62mph time of 2.6 seconds, longer than it takes to say ‘Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.’
