Ferrari Unveils One-Off SP38 Supercar With Drastic Changes

A road legal one off custom version based on the 488 GTB has been unveiled. Named SP38, the car borrows design cues from the Ferrari F40 and 308 GTB. When it comes to design, the Ferrari SP38 sees drastic changes made to its front and rear. To make the car look more aggressive, new slim headlights have been fitted.

To augment the aggressive look further, the daytime running lights have been moved to the bumper. From behind, the car is quite unrecognizable since a lot of changes have been made. Changes to the rear include a small fixed wing, louvered body works and new taillights.

Mechanically the car is powered by the same twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 engine producing 670HP. The SP38 is the latest in a line of one-off, customer-commissioned Ferraris, the number of which is uncertain as many customers prefer not to have their cars publicised.
