Five new Cars to enter the Automobile Market of India by 2014

The year of 2012 started with a bang for the Indian automobile Industry as it saw many exciting cars at the 11th International Auto Expo that was held in New Delhi this January. Many cars were unveiled and launched in this auto expo while majority of them has made it to the roads of India by now. Other than the cars of Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, a few of the international car manufacturers have quite ambitious plans in their book of deeds for the roads of India.

These automobile companies are either the subsidiary companies of the international firms already active in our automobile market or they are absolutely new to the turf. But nonetheless they have noticed the growing automobile market of India, which has made them reach the decision where they have come up with market specific products for the Indian subcontinent.

Renault Duster

The French automobile giant Renault is all geared up to launch its Dacia brand which is a Romania based firm under the parenthood of Renault. The Renault Duster which is a Dacia product is a nice compact SUV that will be something absolutely new for the SUV crazed Indian customers. This five-seater compact SUV will be launched by Diwali this very year. The enthusiastic customer may even get to buy it as a Dhanteras blessing for themselves. The price bracket of this mini SUV could be somewhere between Rs.6 lakh to Rs.7 lakh which is extremely affordable and quite competitive.

The Datsun by Nissan is coming into the Indian automobile market with a clear mindset, to meet the commuting needs of the Indian customers. This compact car will come in direct competition with the Hyundai Eon, Maruti Suzuki Alto and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R whenever the price is announced. Coming within a price bracket of Rs.4 lakh to Rs.5 lakh the Nissan Datsun promises to be high on fuel efficiency and low on budget and weight. It is scheduled to be launched in the Auto Expo of 2014.

Ssangyong cars

Mahindra & Mahindra has plans to bring in its South Korean brand of Ssangyong’s premium models of cars to India by October this year. Mahindra Rexton SUV will be the first luxury vehicle to reach the Indian roads by that speculated time.This will be followed by the Mahindra Ssangyong Korando in the coming year of 2013. Other than the SUV Ssangyong will be launching luxury saloon in the near future.

Porsche

The premium automobile company of Germany, Volkswagen, will be bringing in the premium luxury Porsche brand to the Indian subcontinent very soon. The first car of the Porsche brand would be the iconic 911 which is pronounced as Nine Eleven. The model would be Porsche 911 Carrera GT.This would be coming in a retro style with an engine that is powerful at a monstrous proportion because of a 3.5-litre box which is mated with a seven-speed manual transmission.

Jeep

The automobile manufacturing company of America as well as a part of the Chrysler Group, Jeep is known as the pioneer of off-road vehicles like the 4×4 mechanism. Fiat would be the one bringing Jeep into the Indian automobile market. However, the targeted customers are the high net worth people who are always in a look out for a classic kind of style statement as the price will come under the bracket of Rs.23 lakh to Rs.35 lakh. The exquisite models which Jeep intends to introduce in the Indian market would include the Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Liberty.
