The Focus RS looks to bring what is regarded as a legendary nameplate to a new generation of customers and will look to deliver innovative technology as well as stunning performance at a price that will come as a pleasant surprise to many. This is how the top management at Ford is looking at this release.

The car comes with a 2.3-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine that delivers a great 350PS in terms of power as well as 440Nm in terms of torque. It also has an overboost mode that allows it to deliver 470Nm of torque for about 15 seconds, making this the fastest and most powerful Focus RS to date.

In addition to this, it will also be the first Focus RS which will have an All Wheel Drive (AWD) system, which runs on twin electronically controlled clutch packs and can control the side to side torque distribution as well. The car has been calibrated alongside the advanced electronic stability control and is likely to not only deliver the goods in terms of power but in terms of control as well.
