Honda BR-V Budget Seven-Seater SUV To Debut Soon

Recently Honda revealed the official sketches of BR-V (Bold Runabout Vehicle) ahead of August debut at Gaikindo Indonesian International Motor Show 2015. Now, we have two design sketches of the BR-V, a 7-seater budget sports utility vehicle. While the details on the Honda’s new vehicle are sketchy, we think it will be built on Honda Mobilio platform, like HR-V that’s based on Jazz.

According to the automaker, the BR-V will symbolize a new generation of crossover utility vehicle with solid and tough exterior design matched to generous ground clearance. Motivation for the vehicle will come from a 1.5 liter powerplant that will deliver great fuel economy and sporty performance.

More digging revealed that the Honda BR-V will be competing in the compact SUV segment, majorly with Nissan Terrano, upcoming Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. Nonetheless, the sports utility vehicle has a major USP, according to Honda, and it claims that BR-V will offer a spacious yet comfortable cabin with seven seats in three-row configuration.

Don’t you think this is Honda’s direct answer to 7-seater Toyota Rush? Your thoughts are as always, most welcome…
