Already beefed up with the upcoming version of i10 facelift, we were also considering the MPV or crossover to be based on that same platform which is slight bigger than present generation i10. And rightly stroking to our hopes we had now received that Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik is also looking toward the same. This can be clearly storm form his statement that says, “We lead the industry in sedans, we have a bunch of them, but if you look at our crossover line, we [only] have two nameplates, the Tucson and the Santa Fe.” This was lent to one of the media personnel at an event held in US.

Continuing with the same, he said the company is “very under-represented” in such a fast growing segment.

Now finally, the compact crossover of Hyundai had received the official seal on it. And if we are not wrong then the development work must be going on in full fledge in the backend, because the Korean carmaker is known for making the outcomes as soon as possible, and also for its eagerness to catch up with the ongoing trend very smartly. So slotting it as per the respective segment plethora, upcoming crossover would be placed below the Tucson, and but obviously to be above the i10 and i20 badge.

Hyundai Considering an Entry Level
No doubt this may come to India for sure too, because in the present scenario in our local MPV segment is boosting a lot and Hyundai is one of the India’s favorite brands after Maruti.
