Hyundai recently released a teaser image of its Hyundai HCD-14 Concept ahead of Detroit Auto Show. HCD stands for Hyundai California Design in HCD-14. A press release from the house of Hyundai says that HCD concept will offer a sneak peek into its design of future premium vehicles, spirited driving dynamics and the very special 3-D gesture-based technology controls.
Though technical specifications have not been revealed officially, but an international media says that Hyundai HCD-14 Concept will sport a twin-turbocharged V6 engine engaged with a 10-speed automatic transmission providing an all-wheel drive facility. They also said that the revelation of HCD will be an early preview of Hyundai next generation sedan- Genesis.
As seen in pictures, Hyundai HCD-14 Concept features unique taillamps, bold character lines and sloping roofline. From the image, one can conclude that it will be a four door coupe giving a prowl to German biggies like Mercedes, BMW and to an extent Audi as well.
