During the Auto Expo 2020, Hyundai Motors had unveiled its most awaited and very successful SUV Hyundai Creta, in a new avatar. Hyundai opened the pre bookings for the All New Creta without even announcing the pricing and within a week it received more than 10,000 bookings. Now, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has launched the most awaited All New CRETA The Ultimate SUV, for an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh.
Building on the success of the 1st Generation CRETA, the 2nd Generation All New CRETA is set to define the new Benchmark in its segment with its futuristic design, power packed performance and extensive array of comfort & convenience features.
All New CRETA has been crafted along the lines of Hyundai Global Design Philosophy of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ to offer customers the Ultimate SUV that surpasses their expectations of futuristic design, advanced connectivity & features coupled with a power packed Driving Experience.
All New CRETA will be powered with 5 powertrain options – 1.5L MPi Petrol (6MT/ IVT), 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel (6MT/ 6AT) and Powerful 1.4L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol (7DCT). To enhance the Driving Experience, All New CRETA comes with 3 drive modes (Eco, Comfort & Sport) and Traction Control Modes (Snow, Sand & Mud) that optimises driving comfort across different terrains.
All New CRETA is equipped with a host of Smart Technology features ranging from Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold to Paddle Shifters that offers a sporty and fun-to-drive experience. Hyundai’s All New Creta is launched at the introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base model while the top spec variant goes upto Rs 17.20 lakh ex-showroom. The new Hyundai Creta gets five variants — E, EX, S, SX and SX(O). Following are the variant-wise price (ex-showroom, India) details of the Creta 2020.
The All New Creta also comes with Hyundai’s new optional Wonder Warranty plan – three years/1 lakh kilometres, four years/50,000km and five years/40,000km, all of which have a roadside assistance package bundled in for the same duration.
In terms of competition, the new Creta competes with the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Renault Duster and Nissan Kicks. This will be one segment to look out for.
