KTM-Bajaj Looking To Acquire Ducati

Rumours are abound that Ducati is being sold by its parent group Volkswagen. Just last year brands like Royal Enfield, Bajaj and Harley Davidson were in talks with Volkswagen to acquire the company.

Now it seems KTM has teamed up with Bajaj to acquire the brand. According to KTM insiders, the company is looking to add another bike brand to its name. KTM also has its eyes on Triumph. The reason for sale of Ducati by Volkswagen, it seems, the case of streamlining of production.

Volkswagen already has a large number of brands under it and it is trying to sell one or two to make itself slim and trim.
