Mercedes’s most premium brand, the Maybach, will launch its S600 luxury sedan in India on September 25th. The S600 is similar in many ways to the Mercedes S-Class, but surpasses the former in many ways as well. For instance, the S600 is a good 20cm longer compared to the S-Class.
The Maybach S600 is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that gives a peak output of 515bhp and peak torque of 830Nm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed 9G Tronic transmission system. The S600 can hope from zero to 100kmph in less than five seconds. It is noteworthy to mention that the Maybach S600 is a rear wheel drive car.
On the inside, the Maybach S600 comes packed with premium features. Some of those features include things like adjustable back seats with LCD screens, tray table, massagers etc. The car in all likelihood will be brought to India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route and thus the price of the car would be on the higher side. We expect the Maybach S600 price in the Indian market to hover around the Rs.3crore mark, meaning that the car will be positioned above the S-Class or even the AMG cars here.
