Hyundai Motors may be gloating over the fact that they have got more than 10k bookings for the 2011 Fluidic Hyundai Verna which was launched recently. However, there is more good news awaiting all the Hyundai i20 lovers. There is an all new 2011 Hyundai i20 which is coming this October. It is said to feature the company’s signature Hyundai grille and fluidic headlights along with revised tail lights and a new set of alloy wheels. The interiors will also get minor revisions keeping in mind the ever changing modern trends in the Indian automobile scene. The engines, however would mostly remain unchanged. Rumors also say that the 1.2 liter engine in the Hyundai i10 would be transported here with all its variable valve timing technology. This would mean better acceleration and fuel efficiency figures for the entry level i20 model. Expect a slight price hike in the region of Rs. 10,000 to Rs 30,000 when the new 2011 i20 goes on sale by October, 2011. This would nudge the i20 even closer to the C segment sedans. All the B+ hatchbacks watch out because the “Uber Cool” thing could be the next sales chart topper.

Meanwhile keeping in mind the monsoon season, Hyundai India would be launching their Free Monsoon Checkup camps very soon. Watch this space for more details as they come up.
