New Base Petrol Audi A3 Introduced at Rs.25.50 lakh

A new entry level petrol version of the Audi A3 named A3 40 TFSI Premium has been introduced in India at a price of Rs.25.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhiand Mumbai). At this price, the new petrol A3 is almost Rs.2 lakh cheaper compared to the existing diesel version. The car will come with all standard Audi features such as rear parking sensors, start stop button, leather upholstery and energy recuperation.

Powered by a 1.8-liter petrol motor, the A3 40 TFSI gives a max output of 178bhp and a peak torque of 250Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch 5-tronic transmission system.

The purpose here is to cash in on the upcoming festive season and keep the Audi brand going for the rest of the year. The company is hoping to that this new and cheaper Audi A3 will boost its numbers in Indian market even further.
