Indian utility manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra recently launched their new Maxximo 8 seater mini van in Rajasthan. The Maxximo, which is powered by the fuel efficient C2 CRDe advanced diesel engine, is priced at Rs.3.31 lakh in Jaipur according to ex-showroom price.
An official was quoted as saying that this next generation passenger car was developed on a technologically advanced platform. This mini van will redefine the state carriage and the entry level contract carriage markets.
The official was also quoted as having said that the market share of vans would increase with the introduction of the new Maxximo mini van which is well designed, features cushion seats for increasing the vans comfort factor, a wider body, as well as many other features not available easily in the current vans in the auto market.
