Skoda unveiled the new Octavia at an event in Mumbai a month back. Now the carmaker decided to launch it in India on 3rd October 2013. Hopefully, this event is said to happen at Delhi. Prices are expected to hit the mark of approximately Rs. 15 lakh bracket.
There are clear specifications on the ground that engine will be done away with the 1.4 and 1.8-litre petrol, while the diesel buyers to remain suffice with the 2.0-litre jag.
1.4TSI and 1.8TSI will produce 138bhp and 177bhp respectively. Meanwhile, the diesel trim to don goodness of 141bhp at its bay.
The base petrol trim (i.e. of 1.4-litre) is said to be done with manual gearbox, while the elder gasoline (i.e. of 1.8-litre) will carry the seven-speed automatic transmission. 2.0TDI is said to engulf options of six-speed manual as well as automatic transmission. Hence there doesn’t lays any doubt that New Skoda Octavia will bestow us the comfort of electronically adjusted ORVMs, power windows, ABS, dual front airbags, traction control, driver’s seat height adjust, steering adjust, remote locking and rear air-con vents. Topping the chart amongst all the standard 16-inch alloy wheels will give in the best of the price tags.
