Nissan highlighted the Invitation concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Invitation concept is a highlight of an unnamed future production model. It is a five-door hatch with sporty exterior and functional interior. Key features of the Invitation concept includes a grille extending up to the headlights, with aggressively sculptured nose, a prominent LED taillight and sleek lines adding to the required dynamic character.
Packed with high-end technology, the Invitation concept features around-view monitor (AVM) safety technology, that assists in parking the already tiny hatch. Additional information is limited, but the concept rides on the V-platform, which also underpins the Micra. It sports a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion bar rear suspension.
There is no detail on the engine specifics as of now, but Nissan says one of the production variants is targeted to have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km and a class-leading fuel efficiency with its ultra-lightweight platform and aerodynamically efficient body.
