Porsche hits monthly delivery record in Indian market

Porsche India has commenced its retail processes with a record hitting monthly period. The new authorized importer of Porsche vehicles authoritatively began the delivery of vehicle in the Indian market (earlier the Porsches were imported by Precision Cars India Ltd.) on October 1st, 2012.

The Stuttgart based firm registered 117 car deliveries for October 2012, and in the route exceeded the preceding record of highest monthly sales in the sub-continent.

Mr. Anil Reddi, Director of Porsche India, stated, “It has been a really electrifying past six months for us at Porsche India and we are delighted with the speed of our network growth and innovative model introductions in the nation.”

While talking about the model array, Mr. Reddi added, “I am happy to declare the entrance of the latest 911 Carrera, the 7th generation of this sports car icon, in addition to the innovative Boxster S that was brought out internationally earlier this year.”

The latest Porsche 911 Carrera is obtainable with the globe’s first 7 pace manual gear case or the 7 pace PDK. The renowned sports vehicle could be yours at a price of Rs.1.14 crore whilst the range exceeding 400 bhp 911 Carrera will set buyers back by Rs.1.33 crore.

The innovative Boxter S is catered by a 3.4 litre 6 cylinder central mounted mechanism that belts out 315 bhp.
