Renault India is at its last stage of logistics to prepare the launch of its much acclaimed Renault Fluence E4 D with diesel engine which is a Step 2 CRDI kind, on the 3rd April 2012 at the Hotel Lalit in Connaught Place, New Delhi. With a lot of things similar to its predecessors, the dieselFluencehas the same kind of Step 2 CRDI diesel engine which may also be boosting the movement of the Renault Duster that is due to arrive in India sometime towards the end of this year.
Till now Renault Fluence was getable in both the usual automobile fuel variants in India. The diesel type had a six-forward and one-reverse gear on manual type transmission but the petrol type Fluence had a six-speed gear advanced CVT II transmission and a manual mode if required. These sedans came with ASS (advanced suspension system) in the front, which is a MacPherson type suspension with dual acting shock absorber, coil spring and stabilize bar with trailing arm type shock absorbers in the rear with the same kind of dual acting shock absorbers and coil spring as it is on the front axle. The EPS (electric variable type) speed harmonious power steering compliments the disc brakes, which are ventilated both on the front and rear axle to make sure that the vehicle remains as efficient, comfortable and enjoyable as possible on its rigid chassis.
Overall, the new Renault Fluence E4 D will support all the usual features from its predecessors when it comes to the beautiful exteriors which boasts of a body line in its low hung rounded figure. Chromed slim grille with cat eye like headlights, the air embankment goes along the breadth of the car to finally show off the logo of Renault on the head of the bonnet. The sloping roofline on the side profile makes it deliver a feel of a coupe. The tail-lamps are very alluringly shaped like they are showcasing a glistening element to the whole appearance of the vehicle with a logo of Renault and name of this car on the rear end of the boot lid. On the interior, it is decorated with complete upholstery of leather while the dashboard is a la mode with double theme of black and beige. The three-spoke power steering is covered in fine leather to be adjusted manually in accordance to its driver for reach and height.
Central console is packed with Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls, USB and aux-in abutment, LCD screen for utility and entertainment of the driver and passenger both. ABS with EBD, airbags on the side leveling to chest, two airbags for front passengers and ESP (Electronic stability program) is the standard safety feature of this model.
