Toyota redesigns its organizational structure to achieve company’s vision

Toyota Kirlosker Motor Limited has overhauled its organizational structure to attain the company’s vision. The changes will come into effect from 1st of Jan 2013 and was announced by the MD and Chief Executive officer, TKM, Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa. The main aim behind the change is to strengthen the company to achieve its vision and enhance the decision making process.

Deputy managing director for commercial, Mr. ShekarViswanathan, has now been promoted to designation of Vice Chairman for External affairs. Mr. Sandeep who was Deputy Managing Director in sales, marketing and customers has been promoted to the Deputy MD and Chief Operating Officer. In this new role he will be responsible for Marketing, sales, commercial division and Toyota Customer service.

Speaking on the revised structure, Managing Director and Chief Executive officer, Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa said that in view of expanding their company in India, TKM will need their team to take up new responsibilities.
