Volkswagen 7-seater crossover coming soon!

Volkswagen compact SUV Taigun is still pending in the pipeline, now news came in that VW brand is going to build a 7-seater crossover, as per one of the industry reports.

Meanwhile, just to highlight it, the CrossBlue crossover concept at this year’s Detroit Motor show seems more of a production specific, we hope the new three row seating to be consisted very generously unlike to that of the claustrophobic innovation in the conceptual guise.

As per to that same source of reported content, the situation inside the organization is such, Volkswagen officials are not pondering over the issue whether to produce the crossover or not, but instead the project is near to the finalization stage where at the round table it is being discussed to build this vehicle at Puebla factory of Mexico or to make the arrangement for it at Chattanooga bay in USA.

“No decision has been made yet,” Frank Fischer, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations, told reporters on Monday. “My team is working hard to get this as a second vehicle.”

CrossBlue will use the VW’s famous MQB platform underneath, which is said the same to be used for underpinning the other Volkswagen vehicle too in the near future.

Conceptual treatment of the CrossBlue at this year’s Detroit Motor Show conveys, 196.3 inches (4,986mm) of length, and the power to be derived from a hybrid diesel unit which houses the electric motor at rear, and a DSG dual clutch transmission being there to transform traction on all the wheels.

No to disappointment, the production specific version will surely get a variety of powertrains to make the roll-out happen very expansively.
