2014 Corolla was initially debuted in the form of Furia Concept at Detroit Autio Show and taking it further to its actual persona, it will make production spec appearance at 2013 LA Auto Show meant to be in held in November this year.

Furia had created havoc in industry when it was rolled down in the orange avatar at North American paddock and was promising a lot to many other international boundaries as well. Talking to one of the international media in a recent event, a senior most official of Toyota said, 2014 Corolla will see daylight at LA by mid of this November and will be a reworked version of Furia Concept. To an addition, it will go on sale by that (show) time itself and will slowly move to other countries within nearby timeframe. Existing model is a bit tad to compete in this fast and swift trend, so there is a sure shot of the new ones to step down in competition.

New Corolla is said to be crispier than ever before and need not to mention, would also be bigger on every part, just to make confident stride on the rivals. A 102.4” wheelbase and 19” alloys are proving frugal to the claims made by Toyota.

As of now there is no official confirmation from Toyota about powertrain but speculations goes with 1.8 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel for our Indian market, which is fuelling up power in the present model, and also will be tweaked enough to give in fresh feel for a newbie, as the petrolhead may sport dual VVTi in latest.
