We’ve been talking about the DB9 successor to break cover for almost two years now. Gladly, Aston Martin gave us the preview of what the DB9 replacement could look like at the Consorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este past week. It was a rather quiet unveil, and the car received mix response from the spectators. However, this new video teased by Aston Martin is sure to thrill the bond car fans. Dubbed, the AM310, it is the preview of the new Aston Martin DBS being developed at the Gaydon facility.

AM310-Teaser
The video doesn’t really show the car, except for few curves towards the end. Instead, it features a shark, a jet plane pilot and a samurai sword; we wonder what the British automaker is upto! From our previous sources, we do have a few hints on what the car could turn out to be. In terms of design and styling, the AM310 will be a standout from the DB series. It will feature wider chin, restyled headlamps and beefed up body, while the rear will be inspired by the One-77 hyper car.

One of the best sounding engines, the 6.0-litre V12 is likely to continue powering the new Aston. However, it will add few more ponies to along with the overall sporty persona. We believe it will require more than just a few nip and tucks to give the exquisite DB series a rebirth.
