Audi A8L Facelift Launched In India: Priced At Rs. 1.12 Crore

With the redesigned Audi A8L’s Dubai launch yesterday, the German luxury automaker also announced its Indian prices. Priced at Rs. 1.12 crore, the A8L is now offered at Audi dealerships across the country. It has received minor cosmetic changes, which give it a slightly refreshed look. The most noticeable change of all is the optional Matrix LED headlamps available with the car, making it the only vehicle in the class to offer this feature. The A8L has changes inside the cabin too, making the interiors plusher than before.

Besides this, the all-new Audi sedan is available with more than 12 wooden inlays, 23 interior colors and 100 exterior colors. On the mechanical front, the redesigned Audi A8L is available with a petrol engine and two diesel engines. The petrol 4.0 liter Bi-Turbo V8 engine is rated at 435PS with 580 newton meters of torque. Talking of the diesel engines, the vehicle is propelled by 3.0 TDI and 4.2 TDI. While the 3.0 liter V6 can pump out 258PS of power with 580 newton meters of torque, and the latter claims to churn out 385PS of power with 850 newton meters of torque. It will be brought to India as CBU (Completely Built-UP Unit).

Audi A8L Facelift Launched In India

The aluminum used for the Audi Space Frame is light, offers greater design freedom for castings and extruded sections than steel, and the components made from it exhibit high rigidity. The ASF construction principle permits sporty handling combined with reduced consumption.

The wheelbase and length of the new Audi A8L are longer by 130 millimeters, respectively, compared to the standard version, which means more legroom and relaxation for. These two dimensions have increased to 3122 and 5267 millimeters, respectively; the vehicle’s width remains unchanged at 1949 millimeters, while its height has risen by 2 to 1462 millimeters. The large rear doors allow the passengers to enter the vehicle easily – and you can buckle up comfortably.

Audi A8L facelift

The optionally available two single seats in the rear with the luxurious relaxation seat behind the front passenger seat include an electrical adjustment of fore/aft position and pneumatic lumbar support. The rear seat executive package including a footrest is situated in the back of the front passenger seat which is controllable from the rear. The pneumatic massage function provides increased comfort while driving.
