Bentley is marking its 95th anniversary in the UK by introducing the Mulsanne 95, a stunning special edition of the automaker’s luxurious flagship model. Only 15 examples will be handcrafted by Bentley’s Mulliner division in Crewe and all are reserved for customers in the UK. Its range of design cues, a distinctive wood veneer and British inspired colors, all highlight the exclusive nature of the Mulsanne. Three bespoke exterior colors: Oxford White, Empire Red and Britannia Blue – created especially for this limited run of vehicles and then handcrafted at the company’s own paintshop have been conceived for the Mulsanne 95 with every option reflecting the automaker’s proud British roots.

The classic blue, white and red palette is complemented by some attention-grabbing exterior design touches unique to Mulsanne 95, with a dark tint finish given to the stunning 5-spoke 21 inch wheels and the iconic Flying B bonnet mascot. The interior showcases Bentley’s ability to skillfully combine modern features with the leather hides and luxurious wood veneers for which the automaker is known for.

Illuminated treadplates featuring a bespoke Ninety Five script and union flag detail turn the simple act of opening the door into an occasion. A unique 95 logo has been embroidered onto the rear and front seats as well as on the passenger fascia panel. The company’s passion to uncover sustainable and beautiful wood veneers, which bring great taste and character throughout the interior means Bentley has a team of experts searching around the globe for new designs. For this uniquely British mode; nonetheless, the team found inspiration closer to home.

The 95th Anniversary Bentley Mulsanne gets a noteworthy and particularly rare wood veneer selected by Bentley from a huge walnut free – estimated to be between 300 and 400 years old, which came down at Fulbeck Hall in Lincolnshire during a heavy storm in 2007. The Fulbeck Walnut veneer features in the signature ring of wood, which encompasses the entire cabin, and its complex pattern displays a rare ripped effect which sweeps through the interior. This distinctive veneer is complemented by a white and blue dual-tone leather split with red contrast stitching to stylishly continue the British theme.
