BMW to entice Indian audience with the launch of 2013 X1 on February 14th

The Indian arm of celebrated German luxury carmaker BMW is reportedly making the final preparations to launch its 2013 BMW X1 facelift in domestic market valentine’s day – on February 14, 2013.

The BMW X1, one of BMW India’s best selling models in the domestic luxury car market, is a compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). The soon-to-be launched BMW X1 facelift SUV will come trimmed with numerous exciting and artistically gratifying interior as well as exterior features.

It will feature new front fascia, refurbished headlights, revamped bumper and enhanced tailgate. When it comes to the interior, central console, steering wheel and air vents will be seen revamped. The steering wheel will get silver tipped accents, while air vents will be chrome accentuated.

The new stylish compact SUV, the 2013 BMW X1 facelift, will see Indian daylight in both petrol and diesel versions.

Under the hood, the facelift MBW SUV will continue to have the 1.8-litre petrol which is capable of producing 150bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, in the diesel version, will produce 177bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the wheels through the new ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox. Its start/stop system is also expected to enhance its fuel efficiency considerably.

The German auto giant has managed to keep its pricing within tolerable limits for Indian buyers by assembling it in the country.

The BMW X1, presently, faces cut-throat competition from rival luxury passenger cars lie Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz B-Class Sports Tourer in the Indian luxury car market.

In addition, the German luxury car manufacturer has also revised its Facebook page with a puzzler on the introduction of the new as well as exciting 2013 X1.

As per latest reports, the 2013 BMW X1 facelift has already been rolled out in the Indonesian automobile region.
