As Detroit Auto Show witnessed the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Brembo wasted no time to announce that the brakes of this car are provided by them. They grabbed the limelight once again with one of the America’s afficandos.
It is learnt that they will produce the braking system in their Michigan facility. Dan Sandberg, President and CEO of Brembo North America said that he is very much overwhelmed for supplying brakes to the Stingray as it is completes the full line of 2014 Chevrolet Corvette in the repertoire of North American Original Equipment.
It is also learnt that that the calipers and disc are designed in such a way that it facilitates shortest stopping distance, efficiency to perform with balanced braking even in the extreme weather conditions, enhanced durability and improved modulation.
It is seen that the manufacturer enjoys strategic relationship with Chevrolet which benefits him to become one of the engineering pillars of the masterpiece ‘Corvette’.
While one of the Brembo’s masterpieces is four piston brake linked with two piece aluminum caliper functioning with a ventilated disc.
