Chevrolet Scores 7000 Bookings for Sail Sedan since Launch

Chevrolet had faired average with their products in India and to keep the momentum going on, they had rolled out Sail sedan in recent months.

To conclude actual fact, carmaker had posted an ad in today’s Times of India which says, Chevrolet had scored 7000 bookings for newly launched Sail sedan alone in India.

Overall the Sail sedan is an extended version of its hatchback Sail U-VA, and had screeched good number of buyers in the price band of 5-7 lakhs, being available at 4.99 lakh for petrol and Rs. 6.23 lakh for diesel, respectively of the base variants, while also giving a tough stride to Maruti Swift Dezire and other such rivals in the horizon.

Under hoods, Sail sedan lies with 1.2 liter petrol and Fiat sourced 1.3 liter diesel, producing 86 PS and 78 PS respectively.

Meanwhile, those who had booked their newbie need not to worry, as automaker is working hard to bestow you with the metal as soon as possible.

It seems that claimed fuel efficiency of 22.1 kmpl for diesel had lured a large number of buyers to showrooms, while this should be go as long possible unlike to the hatchback sibling which had fizzed out all excitement very shortly just after its launch; in spite of good earned response at the time of roll out.
