Don’t know how much fact these spy-shots contain, but it is for sure that the Datsun GO+ MPV is creating a lot of buzz in Indonesia a week before its launch.
In the spy-shots, a Datsun GO+ MPV was spotted wearing the sporty body kit, which it is expected to be called as Datsun GO+ Hi-Sporty. It will be the top of line trim in category, as the fog lamps and alloys doesn’t seem making way on the starting variant. On the sporty front, this MPV of Datsun wears a sportier bumper, side skirts, and new rear bumpers integrated with rear diffuser and added spoiler on the top. Parking sensors and chrome strip also seems waving hands from the rear.
However, the Datsun didn’t had plans for any of the diesel trims in either of the models, but the 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine will be occupying the engine bay of the GO+ MPV during the most of entire league time. The engine produces 68 hp and peak torque of 104 Nm after being mated with 5-speed manual gearbox. Speculations says, the Renault’s 1.5L diesel K9K may make its way into the Datsun brand sooner or later, but nothing on confirmed platform to talk of now.
For the last, interiors too are not spared from the Hi-Sporty term even. The dual-colour seat in combination with blue and beige is adding worth to the additional packet of money meant to be asked for.
