Daytona Ends in Piles of Crashes

Daytona is one of the famous races in our automotive industry but sometimes the best can also get worst, as no can predict what is stored for them on the very next turn. This case happened to be the same with race participants too. Let us inform you that, motor-sport is an actual sports while other of them are mere activities, as said by a famous author.

Getting to the Daytona, it witnessed a horrific crash as Regan Smith’s Chevy, who was also leading the race, wrecked sideways and banged Kyle Larson’s car in the fence adjacent to it. The unexpected went with such an impact that it blew off metal pieces in the stand and injured around 28 spectators including six of them which now are very much critical, as two of them are really injured on worst core. Accident trespassed the safety fencing by a massive force that created holes in it and sprinkled metal fireworks all over.

No to delays, injured were rushed to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

Concluding the whole event with positive vibes, Daytona International Speedway representatives said, “First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with our race fans,”

Despite the tragedy, motor-sports fanatics need not to worry as said by the organizers, Sunday’s Daytona 500 – the season’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup event will take place as planned.

Lastly but miraculously, Tony Stewart registered the win of Nationwide Series Drive4COPD 300 Daytona race.
