The Avanti has been launched by DC Design in Maharashtra. The sports car is completely home grown and was launched at the only dealership that DC has in the state which is at Pune. The car is priced at Rs.35.93 lakh and looks quite amazing. DC has always done things differently here in the Indian market and has successfully carved out a niche for themselves with their excellent and innovative line up. The Avanti has already created quite a buzz market wise owing to its looks and a closer review will be one that most car junkies will be looking out for.

The car is made in a true sports car form and has a mid-engine layout which has a 2-litre, four cylinder turbocharged engine derived from Renault. The mill delivers as much as 248bhp in terms of peak power as well as 340Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. DC Design claims that the Avanti can do 0-100kmph in a mere 6 seconds and has a top speed of 200kmph that has been limited electronically.
