Fiat Linea Classic launched in India for Rs. 5.99 lakh

Fiat Linea Classic is the budgeted C-segment car of the Fiat. On outer is it is the same to what the standard Linea looks like. But it appears different on the number of features provided, which it has shredded to fall suitably in the costing bracket of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

However, the features which are axed on the Classic version from that of the standard Linea are the fog lamps, climate control, the Blue&Me, steering mounted audio controls, driver airbag, brushed aluminium highlights, beige dashboard, power windows in the rear, chrome body touches and alloy wheels.

Despite chopping this much features off the car, the Linea Classic still manages to strike attractive postures, as being made available at the cost of just a “premium hatchback”.

Fiat made Linea Classic is being made available in two variants, namely the Classic and Classic+. The Classic dons both the fuel options, i.e. 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre Multijet diesel options. Disappointingly, the Classic+ arrives only with the option of diesel engine.

To an addition, we learnt Fiat however still retained the Linea Classic with features like hydraulic power steering, programmable speed limit buzzer, dual parabola headlamps and fire prevention system.
