Fiat to Enter Low Cost Segment for Competing Dacia

Fiat is on the verge of exploring new boundaries and a consideration of entering low-cost is one such example.

Marking new markets in the blue prints, its CEO Sergio Marchionne had also raised streaks to lock horns with Dacia as a special reference to pricing factor.

Addressing the media in an event, Marchionne said, “We are wondering if there is space for a low-cost brand such as Dacia in the Fiat world.” He continued saying that the Italian carmaker will not roll out such cost effective models in Europe as the balancing portion between topline and bottomline will be extremely less. He refrained from divulging other specifications, apart from these.

As per some speculations in the market, Fiat will drag down the Innocenti back again to floor, while other basic suggestions are ABC or 123.

Our expectations say that, the Italians will do it in markets like Asia, Africa and to an extent North America, as these are the major markets for grass root level.
